WHO WE ARE

Rauls + Roche is a passion project created by Calvin Rauls and McKinley Roche. After graduating from university with degrees in architecture and landscape architecture, we grew a desire to continue learning in a more alternative sense. This workshop is a way for us to do this through our own curiosity and creation. We are interested in various disciplines and are open to collaborate on many forms of project. Let's connect.

Calvin has been a maker ever since his parents could remember. It was his innovative and wonky ideas that always made him stand out. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture and fell in love with the process of creating furniture. He grew familiar with traditional firm experience and now manages a wood and metal shop in the basement of a local architecture firm. Here, he gets to create and collaborate on projects nearly every day.

McKinley has always walked on a path in between architecture and landscape. She is a very curious soul and feels that both are equally important. She has degree's in both and even started her master's in landscape. In school and her traditional firm experience, she got to investigate how they relate and how we choose to respond. Currently she is exploring the intersectional experience of space, plants, and people as she manages a strange and specialty plant shop.
